throughout the day, engaging in physical activity (even something simple like
walking) regularly each week, reaching out for social support whenever needed —
even if just talking through problems helps —and seeking professional
assistance sooner rather than later so treatment options can begin immediately.
She emphasized looking after yourself physically too: eating well-balanced
meals regularly throughout the day; getting adequate sleep; avoiding drugs
alcohol etc. All these measures will go a long way towards helping manage
depressive symptoms better “It’s really important not to wait until things
spiral further before acting” said Dr. Apurva Tiwari.
